  • New Update

In simple words AI Auto mode now asks about or denies calls the server cannot check when telemetry is off; a setting keeps the old behaviour.

What's changed Changed auto mode with telemetry or feature flags off, including behind LLM gateways: calls the server can't check are asked about or denied, with no fallback to the built-in classifier; set CLAUDE_CODE_AUTO_MODE_SERVER=0 to keep using it (Bedrock, Vertex and Foundry are unchanged) Changed auto mode behind an LLM gateway: CLAUDE_CODE_AUTO_MODE_SERVER=1 turns on the server-side check even with CLAUDE_CODE_DISABLE_EXPERIMENTAL_BETAS set; if managed settings set the latter, they mustFull text

How this page works, and questions

Our server reads the official news and changelog feeds of OpenAI, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, Google AI, Gemini, Gemini CLI, Google DeepMind, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Hugging Face, Ollama every 3 hours, and keeps what they published in the last 45 days. The new models listed on New Models join the same timeline on the day OpenRouter added them.

Each title opens the company’s own page. The text under it is the company’s own, as its feed gives it. The “In simple words” line above it is written by AI (DeepSeek) from that title and text, and is labelled AI. It says what changed; it is not a review.

“Big update” is chosen by Jev, an AI model that makes typed decisions: a new model, a major product or feature, a big price change, or a change in how people can use a tool. Until Jev has read an update, a launch word in a big company’s title marks it. The desk hears of a big update the day it comes out and decides whether to write about it.

Anthropic publishes no news feed, so Claude Code’s releases on GitHub stand in for it.

Where do the updates come from?

Only from each company’s own news page, changelog or GitHub releases, listed above. Nothing is taken from social media or other news sites.

How fast does an update show here?

Within about 3 hours of the company publishing it. A new model shows within 6 hours of OpenRouter adding it.

Figures come from the public sources named on each page, read by our server on a schedule, and may be a few minutes or hours old. Nothing here is investment advice; see the risk disclaimer.
