Terms of Use
The agreement between you and BitWorld Media INC when you use InvestIn.News. Short version: read freely, do not mirror us, and never treat anything here as advice.
1. Agreement
By using investin.news you agree to these terms. If you do not, please stop using the site. These terms are between you and BitWorld Media INC, registration number 806442908, of 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States.
2. Who may use the site
The site is for adults. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
3. What this service is
InvestIn.News has four parts, and the terms differ for each:
- The NewsDesk - our newswire. Stories from other publishers, each with a headline and summary written by AI from the original, a credit and a link back. A story whose AI summary cannot be written is held for an editor and never published with only the publisher’s feed text. Older items published before this rule may still show the publisher’s own short description, quoted, credited and labelled. A few items are written by our own editors and labelled “NewsDesk”. The underlying reporting belongs to the publisher credited on each item. We do not reproduce their articles.
- NewsFeeds - short news flashes taken from other outlets’ public feeds and from public Telegram channels. Every flash is rewritten in our own words by AI and published without an editor reading it first; one that could not be rewritten is not published at all. Every flash is credited to the outlet by name and links to the original. A flash stays in the live feed for seven days; after that our rewrite stays on its own page and, when AI has linked it to earlier flashes on the same story, in that story’s timeline. Our editors may correct or remove a flash at any time.
- Originals - journalism by our own named staff. Most are drafted with help from our AI drafting tool, from the reporting and sources they name; the named writer then checks and edits each one, and the piece says so at the end. This is our work.
- PRDesk - paid placements: press releases and sponsored features, supplied by advertisers, and labelled as paid on every page. We do not verify or endorse them.
The Markets page shows prices, indices and economic data from third parties, for information only. Some NewsDesk and NewsFeeds items come from outlets on a paid feed integration; they are labelled “Partner”.
The AI Hub and the glossary are written with AI: the plain-words lines on the AI Hub are written by AI and labelled, Jev, an AI model, sorts models and flags big updates, and each glossary term is drafted with AI help and checked by a named editor before it goes live. Neither is advice.
4. Nothing here is advice
The site is published for general information. It is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial institution in any jurisdiction, and no relationship of trust or advice arises between us because you read something here. Read the risk disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.
5. Our content, and what you may do with it
The Originals, the design, the software, the name InvestIn.News and the logo belong to BitWorld Media INC or our licensors, as do our selection and arrangement of the site and the text we write or edit, including our AI summaries and NewsFeeds rewrites to the extent the law protects them. Quoted outlet summaries and outlet headlines belong to the outlet credited. You may read, print and share a link. You may quote up to 100 words with clear attribution and a working link to the page you took it from.
You may not republish whole articles, mirror the site, remove attribution or labels, or present our work as your own. Syndication is available - write to contact@investin.news.
6. Automated access
Search engines, AI assistants and other crawlers are welcome to crawl and index the site, to answer questions from it and to train AI models on it, as far as robots.txt permits (everything except the private paths), and for other text and data mining. We say so in machine-readable form too, in robots.txt and in /.well-known/tdmrep.json. Please credit InvestIn.News and link to the page. Crawling does not change section 5: do not republish whole articles or mirror the site, and where an answer draws on our pages, credit InvestIn.News and link to the page. Do not harvest email addresses. Our RSS feeds are there to be read by feed readers. Do not attempt to overload, probe or circumvent any part of the service. We may block any address that does.
7. Third-party content and links
The NewsDesk and NewsFeeds link to other publishers, and advertisements link to advertisers. We do not control those destinations, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for what they publish, collect or do. Follow a link and their terms apply, not ours.
8. Accuracy, and the limits of it
NewsDesk summaries and NewsFeeds flashes are written by AI and labelled one by one, and NewsFeeds also says so at the top of the page. Prices and indices are indicative, may be delayed, and come from third parties. We correct errors reported to us, but we do not warrant that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free. If you spot a mistake, tell us - see our corrections policy.
9. Advertising and paid placements
Paid content is labelled on the page, in RSS and in structured data, and outbound links carry rel="sponsored nofollow". A sponsored feature is shown as the homepage’s featured story for its first 24 hours, labelled as paid there too. Advertisers have no access to or influence over the newsroom. Buying a placement does not buy coverage, and it does not buy removal of coverage. Items from outlets on a paid feed integration are labelled “Partner”. A placement or integration may be limited to certain countries; the advertiser is responsible for its being lawful where it is shown. What we agree with an advertiser in writing for a booking (by email, or in an order we both accept) takes precedence over this page for that booking; anything not agreed that way is governed by these terms and the Advertise page.
10. Changes to the service, removal and closure
We may change, suspend or stop any part of the site, or the whole of it, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice. We may edit, decline, take down or delete any item – including AI summaries, flashes, paid pages, banners and feed integrations – at our discretion, for example for legal, factual, safety or editorial reasons, or because it has reached the end of its retention period. If the site or any desk is closed, suspended or shut down, what it carried may be deleted. Where money was paid for something that is taken down, what we agreed in writing for that booking decides what, if anything, is refunded; otherwise we are not liable to you for any change, suspension, removal or closure.
11. Copyright complaints
If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright, follow our Copyright & Takedown page, which names our designated agent under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (registration DMCA-1081163). We remove material that infringes, and we end the placements and feed integrations of advertisers and partners who repeatedly supply infringing material.
12. What you send us
If you send us a tip, correction, press release, creative or any other material, you confirm you have the right to send it, and you allow us to use, edit, publish and keep it for the purpose you sent it for. Do not send us anything confidential you are not free to share.
13. Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, BitWorld Media INC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any lost profits, lost trading opportunity or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
If your use of the site in breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, that right is unaffected.
17. Severability, and the rest
If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as little as possible and the rest of the terms still apply. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as outages of our hosting, data or AI providers. We may transfer these terms to a company that takes over the site. These terms, with the pages they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about using the site.
18. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
