Who Is Responsible for Your Data

InvestIn.News is published by BitWorld Media INC, 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States, registration number 806442908. BitWorld Media INC is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to [email protected] about anything on this page.

What We Collect

We run no analytics and no advertising trackers. We do not ask you to create an account, we do not collect payment details on this site, and we do not collect wallet addresses, trading history or anything you hold.

Stored on Your Device

Two small entries are kept in your browser’s local storage: your theme, if you choose one, and a note that you have seen our cookie notice. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. The Cookie Notice has the details.

Why We Are Allowed to Hold It

• Legitimate interests - server logs and sign-in attempt records, so the site works and stays safe, and replying to messages you send us. You can object at any time.
• Contract - where you have bought advertising or a paid placement from us, and for the writers who work with us.
• Legal obligation - tax records, and responding to a lawful request.

Who Else Sees It

We do not sell personal data. These providers handle it for us:

• Cloudflare - hosting, content delivery, our database (including the NewsRoom’s records) and server logs. Every request to this site passes through Cloudflare. Our typeface is served from our own site too, so no font provider receives your IP address.
• Zoho Mail - our email provider. It holds the messages you send to [email protected].
• Anthropic - writes the AI summaries on the NewsDesk and the AI rewrites on NewsFeeds. We send it the text of public news articles, and the outlet’s name, headline and text of public news flashes, and nothing about our readers.
• News outlets and advertisers - some story pictures and banner images load straight from their servers, which then receive your IP address and browser details, as with any image on the web.
• Professional advisers, and any authority making a lawful request.

Where Your Data Goes

Our team works from India, and the site is served by Cloudflare from data centres around the world, including the United States. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your data therefore leaves your region. Where the law requires it we rely on the standard contractual clauses our providers offer, or on an adequacy decision where one exists. Ask us and we will tell you which applies.

Your Rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to a portable copy, to object to processing, and to complain to a regulator.

• EEA and UK - access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
• India - access, correction, erasure, grievance redressal and nomination under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act. Our grievance officer is reachable at [email protected].
• California - the right to know, delete and correct. We do not sell or share personal information, and we will not treat you differently for exercising any right.

Write to [email protected] and we will reply within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm you are who you say you are, and nothing more.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. The NewsRoom, where we run the site, is open only to our staff; it is protected by a password and a limit on sign-in attempts. We do not hold card details. If a breach ever puts you at risk, we will tell you and the relevant regulator within the time the law allows.

Children

This site is for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will change this page as the site changes. The date at the top always shows the current version.

Terms of Use

The agreement between you and BitWorld Media INC when you use InvestIn.News. Short version: read freely, do not scrape us, and never treat anything here as advice.

1. Agreement

By using investin.news you agree to these terms. If you do not, please stop using the site. These terms are between you and BitWorld Media INC, registration number 806442908, of 5900 Balcones Drive, STE 100, Austin, TX 78731, United States.

2. Who may use the site

The site is for adults. By using it you confirm that you are 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.

3. What this service is

InvestIn.News has four parts, and the terms differ for each:

• The NewsDesk - our newswire. Stories from other publishers, each with a headline and summary written by AI from the original, a credit and a link back. Where no AI summary is available we show the publisher’s own headline and short description, quoted, credited and labelled. A few items are written by our own editors and labelled “NewsDesk”. The underlying reporting belongs to the publisher credited on each item. We do not reproduce their articles.
• NewsFeeds - short news flashes taken from other outlets’ public feeds. Each is rewritten in our own words by AI and published without an editor reading it first; a flash that could not be rewritten shows the outlet’s own headline instead, labelled “Outlet headline”. Every flash is credited to the outlet by name, links to the original, and is removed after seven days. Our editors may correct or remove a flash at any time.
• Originals - journalism written by our own named staff. This is our work.
• PRDesk - paid placements: press releases and sponsored features, supplied by advertisers or drafted by our commercial team at their request, and labelled as paid on every page. We do not verify or endorse them.

4. Nothing here is advice

The site is published for general information. It is not investment, legal, tax or accounting advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold anything. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer or financial institution in any jurisdiction, and no relationship of trust or advice arises between us because you read something here. Read the risk disclaimer, which forms part of these terms.

5. Our content, and what you may do with it

The Originals, our AI summaries and NewsFeeds rewrites, the design, the software, the name InvestIn.News and the logo belong to BitWorld Media INC or our licensors. Quoted outlet summaries and outlet headlines belong to the outlet credited. You may read, print and share a link. You may quote up to 100 words with clear attribution and a working link to the page you took it from.

You may not republish whole articles, mirror the site, remove attribution or labels, or present our work as your own. Syndication is available - write to [email protected].

6. Automated access

Do not scrape, crawl beyond what robots.txt permits, harvest email addresses, or use the site to train a model without a written agreement with us. Our RSS feeds are there to be read by feed readers. Do not attempt to overload, probe or circumvent any part of the service. We may block any address that does.

7. Third-party content and links

The NewsDesk and NewsFeeds link to other publishers, and advertisements link to advertisers. We do not control those destinations, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for what they publish, collect or do. Follow a link and their terms apply, not ours.

8. Accuracy, and the limits of it

NewsDesk summaries and NewsFeeds flashes are written by AI and labelled: NewsDesk items one by one, and NewsFeeds at the top of the page, where any flash in the outlet’s own words is marked “Outlet headline”. Prices and indices are indicative, may be delayed, and come from third parties. We correct errors reported to us, but we do not warrant that anything on the site is complete, current or error-free. If you spot a mistake, tell us - see our corrections policy.

9. Advertising and paid placements

Paid content is labelled on the page, in RSS and in structured data, and outbound links carry rel="sponsored". Advertisers have no access to or influence over the newsroom. Buying a placement does not buy coverage, and it does not buy removal of coverage. Full terms for advertisers are in the booking confirmation we send you, and take precedence over this page for that relationship.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, BitWorld Media INC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, or for any lost profits, lost trading opportunity or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of one hundred US dollars or the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

If your use of the site in breach of these terms causes a claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The courts of Travis County, Texas have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring proceedings locally, that right is unaffected.

14. Severability

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is limited as little as possible and the rest of the terms still apply.

15. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

The Short Version

We set no cookies for readers. Two small entries are kept in your browser’s local storage: your theme, if you choose one, and a note that you have seen our cookie notice. We run no analytics or advertising trackers, so there is nothing to opt out of.

Third Parties

There are no third-party scripts on the site, and our typeface is served from our own site. One kind of third-party request does happen:

• Images - some story pictures and banner images load straight from the servers of the news outlet or advertiser they belong to, which receive your IP address and browser details.

Cloudflare, which runs our servers, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (such as __cf_bm or cf_clearance) if it ever needs to check that a visit is not automated. It is used only for that check.

If we ever add an analytics or advertising partner, it will be named here before it is switched on, and it will stay off until you agree to it.

Removing What We Store

Clear this site’s data in your browser settings. The site will still work, but it will forget your theme and show the cookie notice again.

Read this before you act on anything published here. Crypto markets can and do take everything you put into them.

The Risk Is Real

• Crypto assets are volatile and you can lose the entire value of a position, quickly.
• Past performance tells you nothing about what happens next.
• Many assets are thinly traded. The price you see may not be the price you get.
• Protocols fail, bridges get drained, exchanges freeze withdrawals and custodians go under.
• In most jurisdictions crypto holdings are not covered by deposit insurance or an investor compensation scheme.
• Rules change. An asset that is legal to hold today may not be tomorrow.

Market Data

Prices, market capitalisations, dominance figures, sentiment indices and Federal Reserve data come from third parties. They are indicative, they may be delayed, and they are not execution prices. Every panel shows when its data was updated. Check it.

AI-Written Summaries and Flashes

Summaries on the NewsDesk are written by AI from the original article and labelled on every item. Where no AI summary is available, we show the outlet’s own short description, quoted and labelled as the outlet’s summary. Short updates on NewsFeeds are rewritten by AI from other outlets’ news flashes and published without an editor reading them first; a flash that could not be rewritten shows the outlet’s own headline, labelled “Outlet headline”. Either way, a summary or a flash is a signpost to the publisher’s reporting, not a substitute for it, and the credited outlet’s original is the authoritative version. Automated summarisation can misread emphasis, nuance and conditionality, and we correct errors reported to us. When a story matters to you, follow the link and read the original.

Forward-Looking Statements

Analysis on this site may contain expectations, projections and estimates. They are opinions held at the time of writing, they are not guarantees, and we are under no obligation to update them.

Conflicts

Where a writer has holdings or interests relevant to their coverage, they are disclosed on their profile page. No exchange or token issuer holds equity in BitWorld Media INC. Paid placements are labelled and kept apart from the newsroom. If you believe something on this site is conflicted and undisclosed, tell us and we will investigate.

Where This Applies

The site is published by a United States company and is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where publishing or accessing it would be unlawful. You are responsible for knowing whether it is lawful for you to hold crypto assets where you live.

Copyright & Takedown

How we credit the publishers we aggregate on the NewsDesk and NewsFeeds, how to have your feed removed, and how to send a copyright notice.

What We Publish, and What We Do Not

For every item on the NewsDesk we publish a headline and a summary, the publisher’s name, the publication time and a link to the original article. The headline and summary are written by AI from the original. Where no AI summary is available we show the publisher’s own headline and short description from its feed instead, quoted, credited and labelled “Outlet’s summary”. We never publish full articles. Where your feed or your article page supplies a preview image, we may show it with the item, loaded from your own server.

On NewsFeeds we publish, for each item in your news-flash feed, a short rewrite of one or two sentences written by AI (or, when no rewrite is available, your own headline, labelled “Outlet headline”), your name, the time and a link to your item. Flashes are deleted after seven days. Everything below applies to flash feeds too.

If You Publish One of Our Sources

You can change the arrangement or come off the list entirely. Write to [email protected] from an address at your domain, tell us the feed, and say what you want. Within one business day we can:

• Stop ingesting your feed - nothing new from it appears on the site.
• Remove items - some or all of the items already published from your feed.
• Change the credit - the name we show for you, or the link it points to.

No argument, no requirement to explain. The feeds we currently use are listed on the sources page.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated contact for copyright notices:

Under 17 U.S.C. §512 the notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or someone authorised to act for them.
• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• The URL of the material on our site, precise enough for us to find it.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act.

We act on complete notices within one business day. We will tell you what we did and, where appropriate, notify whoever supplied the material.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice with your signature, the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, your name, address and telephone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We will restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notice, unless we are told a court action has been filed.

Repeat Infringement

If a feed repeatedly carries infringing material, we stop ingesting it.

Correcting the Record

A takedown is not the only remedy. If a summary or flash based on your reporting is wrong or misleading, write to us and we will correct it - usually faster than a formal notice, and it leaves your story visible.
