What You Get
Each item carries a label (AI summary, Outlet’s summary on older items only, Original, NewsDesk, Rewritten by AI on NewsFeeds, or Paid placement; items from a paid feed integration also say Partner), the publisher in <source>, a link to the item’s page here, a permanent guid (the item’s first address on our site), and a picture when the story has one of our own. Paid items are titled “Sponsored:” and name their sponsor. Paid items never appear in a feed that does not ask for them.

All feeds are public, need no key and have no rate limit beyond ordinary abuse protection. Please poll no more than once a minute; NewsFeeds refresh about every 5 minutes, and the NewsDesk adds about one story an hour.
Using our feeds
Credit the Publisher
Wire and NewsFeeds items are based on somebody else’s reporting. The source field names the publisher. If you republish the item, credit them, not us.
Keep the Labels
The labels travel with every item. Stripping them is the one thing that will get an integration blocked.
