How we credit the publishers we aggregate on the NewsDesk and NewsFeeds, how to have your feed removed, and how to send a copyright notice.

What We Publish, and What We Do Not

For every item on the NewsDesk we publish a headline and a summary, the publisher’s name, the publication time and a link to the original article (marked nofollow). The headline and summary are written by AI from the original. Where no AI summary can be written, the story is held for an editor and never published with only your feed text (older items published before this rule may still show your own short description, quoted, credited and labelled). We never publish full articles. Where your feed or your article page supplies a preview image, we may show it with the item, credited to you: our server fetches it, resizes it and serves a copy from investin.news (your server is not asked by the reader’s browser). Your picture is not used in link previews when the story is shared; those show our own card.

On NewsFeeds we publish, for each item in your news-flash feed, a short rewrite of one or two sentences written by AI - never your own headline on its own - together with your name, the time and a link to your item. Flashes leave the live feed after seven days; our rewrite stays on the site after that, on its own page and in any story timeline it belongs to, still credited and linked to you, and your own headline and text, which we keep only to check the rewrite, are deleted then (and leave our nightly backups within about 12 months). To have flashes from your feed removed, use the takedown process below. Everything below applies to flash feeds too, except No AI use: every flash we publish is rewritten by AI, and our flash reader does not act on robots.txt signals, so to keep a flash feed away from AI, ask us to stop ingesting it.

If You Publish One of Our Sources

You can change the arrangement or come off the list entirely. Write to contact@investin.news from an address at your domain (or, for a Telegram channel we read, from the channel itself or its owner), tell us the feed or channel, and say what you want. Within 24 hours we can:

• Stop ingesting your feed - nothing new from it appears on the site.
• Remove items - some or all of the items already published from your feed.
• Remove pictures - take your pictures off the items already published, leaving the credited summary.
• No AI use (NewsDesk feeds) - our bot stops reading your articles and sending them to AI; your items are then held for an editor. A robots.txt that blocks InvestInNewsBot, or says Content-Signal ai-input=no, does the same without writing to us.
• Change the credit - the name we show for you, or the link it points to.

No argument, no requirement to explain. The feeds we currently use are listed on the sources page.

Copyright Notice

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement under 17 U.S.C. §512(c):

Under 17 U.S.C. §512 the notice must include:

• Your physical or electronic signature, as the owner or someone authorised to act for them.
• Identification of the work you say has been infringed.
• The URL of the material on our site, precise enough for us to find it.
• Your name, address, telephone number and email.
• A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorised to act.

We act on complete notices within 24 hours. We will tell you what we did and, where appropriate, notify whoever supplied the material.

Notices From Outside the United States

You do not need to use the U.S. procedure above. A rights holder, or anyone reporting material they believe is unlawful, in the European Union, India or anywhere else, can write to contact@investin.news with “Content notice” in the subject line, saying what the material is, its address on our site, and why it infringes your rights or is unlawful. We acknowledge every notice within 24 hours, and tell you what we decided and why.

Counter-notice

If your material was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice with your signature, the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, your name, address and telephone number, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address, and your agreement to accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice. We will restore the material no sooner than 10 and no later than 14 business days after we receive a valid counter-notice, unless we are told a court action has been filed.

Repeat Infringement

If a feed repeatedly carries infringing material, we stop ingesting it.

Correcting the Record

A takedown is not the only remedy. If a summary or flash based on your reporting is wrong or misleading, write to us and we will correct it - usually faster than a formal notice, and it leaves your story visible.
