XRP Ledger daily payments hit 1.1 million as activity climbs
XRPSCAN data shows about 1.1 million payments on the XRP Ledger, well above the 30-day average, as network usage rises and XRP holds a September recovery.
Key points
- XRPSCAN data shows roughly 1.1 million payments, against a 30-day average of about 887,600.
- On 27 September the network processed 1,143,754 payments.
- Ledger statistics show about 2.7 million transactions, 17,800 active accounts and nearly $400 million in payment volume.
- There are roughly 31,200 AMM pools on the ledger, a number that is still rising.
- XRP rose from about $1.28 to above $1.60 before correcting to about $1.49.
Daily payments on the XRP Ledger have reached about 1.1 million, a level well above the recent baseline, according to U.Today. The figure comes as XRP tries to hold on to a September recovery. XRPSCAN data puts the 30-day average at roughly 887,600 payments.
The outlet reports that 1,143,754 payments were processed on 27 September. Broader ledger statistics show about 2.7 million transactions, 17,800 active accounts and a payment volume of nearly $400 million. U.Today says the rise does not appear to come from one isolated event.
Instead, the payment count fits a wider increase in XRP Ledger usage during September. Transaction activity, active accounts and payment volume have all stayed high, and the network has seen several payment spikes above one million. U.Today notes that sustaining that activity will matter more than a single reading.
Payments surge on XRPL
The outlet cautions that payments should not be read as a million people sending XRP. The ledger's Payment transaction type can move XRP as well as issued assets such as stablecoins and other tokens. Automated services, exchange infrastructure and applications can therefore generate large numbers of individual payments.
Another possible factor is the growth of the ledger's liquidity infrastructure. U.Today cites XRPSCAN data showing roughly 31,200 automated market maker pools, a number that is still increasing. The payment chart alone cannot identify the exact source of the spike, but more on-ledger liquidity and asset activity can produce more transactions.
On price, U.Today describes a mixed short-term picture. XRP recently climbed from about $1.28 to above $1.60 after clearing September declining resistance. It has since corrected to about $1.49, with several consecutive red candles suggesting weakening short-term momentum.
What drives the count
The $1.45 to $1.50 area is now the immediate focus, according to the outlet. Holding it would keep the breakout intact and leave $1.55 to $1.60 in reach, while a move above $1.60 would bring the recent $1.65 high back into view. If $1.45 fails, U.Today says XRP could fall to $1.40 and then to moving-average support at $1.35 to $1.37.
