In simple words
Imagine you want to own gold but don’t want to keep gold bars at home. You buy a share of a big locker that holds gold for you.
A crypto ETF is that locker, holding bitcoin or ether instead of gold.
The technical side
An exchange-traded fund holds an asset and issues shares that trade on a stock exchange. In January 2024 the US SEC approved the first spot bitcoin ETFs, from BlackRock, Fidelity and others; spot ether ETFs followed in July 2024. Daily inflows and outflows are watched as a sign of big investors’ demand.
ETF holders do not hold the coins themselves and pay yearly fees. Follow the news on NewsFeeds: ETFs.
Crypto ETF kya hai?
Crypto ETF share market pe milne wala fund hai jo Bitcoin ya Ether ke daam ke saath chalta hai. Coin khud rakhne ki zaroorat nahi.
