What is Seed Phrase?

Seed Phrase: a crypto term, explained in plain English.

In one line

A list of 12 or 24 words that can rebuild a crypto wallet and every key in it. Anyone who has it controls the coins.

In simple words

Imagine a magic sentence that can open your treasure box from anywhere in the world. If you forget it, the box stays shut for ever. If a thief learns it, they can empty the box.

A seed phrase is that magic sentence.

The technical side

Most wallets follow the BIP-39 standard: a random number is turned into 12 or 24 words from a fixed list of 2,048. From those words the wallet derives all its private keys, so the phrase restores the wallet on any compatible app or device.

No real company, exchange or support agent ever needs your seed phrase. Asking for it is the most common crypto scam. Write it down offline and never type it into a website or share a photo of it.

Seed Phrase kya hai?

Seed phrase 12 ya 24 shabdon ki list hai jo poore wallet ki chaabi hai. Kisi ko kabhi mat batana, koi company ise nahi maangti.
