Alch-crypto says Hugging Face repositories hid PRL miner

Alch-crypto, who runs the POW coin platform bitgou.org, says 31 Hugging Face repositories posing as small Qwen2 models installed a PRL miner when loaded with trust_remote_code, with some versions carrying a backdoor. The repositories drew over 32,000 downloads and a first wallet received about 2,276 PRL, roughly $5,000 at the time.
