How Aggregation Works

We read public RSS feeds from the outlets listed above. For each new item we store the headline, publisher, reporter, publication time, link, and the feed’s own short description and image, read the original article (or, where the page can’t be read, the outlet’s own description of it), and publish our own summary: a headline, a standfirst, three key points and 150–250 words, written by AI. Every item names the publisher and links to the original, and we never publish full articles.

When an item gets no AI summary – because it comes from a source we review and the editor publishes it as it is, because AI is unavailable or our daily AI limit has been reached, or because the summary is not ready within 30 minutes – we show the outlet’s own short description from its feed instead, quoted and credited, and labelled “Outlet’s summary”. A few NewsDesk items are written by our own editors and labelled “NewsDesk”.

NewsFeeds works differently: it carries short updates taken from outlets’ public news-flash feeds, from public Telegram channels and, where we read them, from public posts by accounts we follow on X, which we read about every five minutes. Each is rewritten in our own words by AI and credited to the outlet by name, with a link back. When two outlets report the same story, we publish it once: the first to report it goes up, and later copies are held back for our editors. A new flash waits for its rewrite; if AI is unavailable or the wait runs out, the flash is not published at all. Flashes are kept for seven days.

How Long We Keep Things, and What Search Engines See

Each desk keeps its items for a set time. The numbers below are the site’s current settings and change here as soon as our editors change them.

Any story can also be kept out of search engines one by one, or limited to certain countries; those stories are left out of our feeds and sitemaps too.

Where AI Is Used

AI writes the summaries on the NewsDesk, and each one is labelled “AI summary”. We use DeepSeek; a backup provider such as Anthropic’s Claude is used only if we switch one on. To write a summary, the text of the original article is sent to the AI provider; we don’t keep that text beyond the summary. Items from sources we have set to publish automatically get an AI summary and go live without a person reading them first. Items from the sources we review are checked by an editor before they are published.

AI also rewrites the flashes on NewsFeeds in our own words and sorts each one into a topic. Flashes go live without a person reading them first; our editors can correct or remove one afterwards. For each flash, the outlet’s name, headline and flash text are sent to the AI provider, and we keep the outlet’s flash text with the flash, for up to seven days, so an editor can check the rewrite. A flash that could not be rewritten never goes on the site.

Originals are written by named people and contain no AI-generated text; if that ever changes it will be disclosed on the article.

Corrections

We correct errors reported to us. If a summary misrepresents the original, or a publisher has updated or withdrawn a story, write to contact@investin.news with the link and what is wrong.

Partner Feeds

Most sources are chosen by our editors and pay nothing. Some outlets pay for a feed integration; every item from them is labelled “Partner”, goes through the same AI summary or rewrite and the same duplicate checks, and can be corrected or removed like any other. Paying for an integration does not buy coverage in the Originals, a better position, or the removal of anything. See Feed Integration.

Paid Content and Editorial Separation

Press releases and sponsored features are published only on PRDesk, under the PRDesk byline, and labelled as paid on the page, in RSS and in structured data. Their outbound links carry rel="sponsored", and they never appear on the NewsDesk or in its feeds. They are written by the advertiser, or by our commercial team at the advertiser’s request - never by the newsroom. Advertisers cannot see or change our reporting before it is published, and buying a placement buys neither coverage nor the removal of coverage.

InvestIn.News comes under the brand umbrella of BitWorld Media INC, a company registered in the United States, and was created by the founders of BitWorld Media INC. It is funded by advertising, paid placements and syndication. No exchange or token issuer holds equity. Where a writer has holdings relevant to their coverage, they are disclosed on their profile page.
